2012 Annual Support Campaign
__OU – WE ALL NEED THE Y.
There’s no place quite like the Y.
We’re a vital part of the Quad Cities community; a welcoming place to learn new skills, connect with others, and access support in times of need. Our unique combination of services enriches the well-being of people of all ages and walks of life. As a nonprofit organization, we never turn away anyone who needs us. We need your financial support to continue to keep that promise.
Funds raised through our Annual Support Campaign enable the Y to:
- Nurture the potential of kids – A safe place after school. Lessons about teamwork and the chance to try new things. Support from a caring role model. The Y provides children meaningful opportunities to learn and grow.
- Foster a sense of community – In communities large and small, we’re there. The Y is a unique gathering place where you’ll find toddlers alongside seniors, families spending quality time together, and neighbors connecting.
- Provide opportunity for all – Helping adults and children reach their potential is at the heart of what we do. As a leading nonprofit organization in our community, we teach life-changing skills and provide essential support in times of need.
In 2011, 328 individuals and families have been enabled to participate in programs, membership, and activities at the Y valued at $39,989. This is made possible by funds raised through the Annual Support Campaign.
