TURN IT UP!
In cooperation with the Mesabi Family YMCA, Small Parts Players and the Lyric Center for the Arts and the Mountain Iron-Buhl Community Education this theatre/dance intensive camp helps youth “turn up” the stars they are! Participants (ages 5-14) will have the option to focus on dance, theatre or a combination of the two. The summer will be filled with learning choreography, different forms of dance, stage presentation, costuming, mask-making, basic play production, vocalization techniques and SO MUCH MORE!

Happy Bats Baseball
Happy Programs Baseball is a parent/child based class that teaches children ages 4-5 the fundamentals of baseball. This program will also help young children develop listening skills, practice following directions and how to get along with other children.

Junior Lifeguard Program
Our Junior Lifeguard Program is designed to build a foundation of knowledge, attitudes and skills for future lifeguards. Participants will learn lifesaving techniques and build on physical fitness during this course. Our objectives are to show the participants the values of mental and physical discipline and teach them to respect themselves, others, authority and the aquatic environment.
Summer Sessions: June 5 – 9 | June 26 – 30 | July 10 – 14
Monday – Friday from 8:00AM – 12:00PM
Requirements: Open to youth 12-15 years of age, must be able to swim 100 yards continuous within 3 minutes, be able to tread water for 2 minutes and surface dive 7 feet underwater and touch the bottom with hands

Parent & Child Swim Lessons
We are now be offering parent/child swim lessons for children ages 6 months – 1 year and children ages 2 years – 3 years. An adult; parent, guardian, or caregiver is required to accompany each child in the water and participate in every class. In class infants and toddlers will learn to be comfortable in the water and develop swim readiness skills through fun and confidence- building experiences all while parents learn about water safety, drowning prevention and the importance of supervision.

A – Water Discovery – Ages 6 Months-1 Year – 5:30 – 6:00PM
B – Water Exploration – Ages 2 – 3 Years – 6:00 – 6:30PM
