Parent & Child Swim Lessons are now offered at the Y!
NEW TO THE Y! We will now be offering parent/child swim lessons for children ages 6 months – 1 year and children ages 2 years – 3 years. An adult; parent, guardian, or caregiver is required to accompany each child in the water and participate in every class. In class infants and toddlers will learn to be comfortable in the water and develop swim readiness skills through fun and confidence- building experiences all while parents learn about water safety, drowning prevention and the importance of supervision.

Level A- Ages 6 Months-1 Year – 10:30-11:15AM
Level B- Ages 2 Years-3 Years – 9:30-10:15AM

Martial Arts at the Y

Learn and Practice Beginning Martial Arts Skills of Physical and Mental Control, Flexibility and Balance. For ages 7 years and up.
Spring March 21 – May 25
Beginner Class- Tues & Thurs. 6:15-7:15 MPR at the Y ( this class is for those who are new to martial arts)
Advanced Class- Tues. & Thurs. 7:15-8:15pm in the GYM at the Y
Family Members $60
Youth/Teen/Adult Members $80
Uniforms are not included in program fees.

The Mesabi Family YMCA’s Afterschool Program offers a safe place for children grades K-6 to be during the after school hours. Physical activity, healthy snacks, homework time, arts & crafts, swim days, outdoor exploration and more!

In an effort to help raise money for the Y, we are accepting Glossy Print Recycling items!
What Can Be Recycled
- Shiny newspapers inserts (Target, Kohl’s, etc.)
- White paper (copy paper, etc.)
What is Unacceptable
- Brown paper bags or plastic bags
- Wet material
- Envelopes with plastic windows
- Colored paper
- Phone books
