Try Log Rolling for FREE!

Come give log rolling a spin with professional log roller Samantha Hadley!

5:30 – 6:30 PM

Suggested Clothing: Swimsuit and/or shorts/spandex. No shoes required.

Not only does the unique sport of log rolling preserve the rich history of lumberjack sports in North America, but this sport is simply the most fun any age level can have in the water! The continuous reward system of staying on the log longer and longer with every practice leads to a wonderful feeling of self-satisfaction for any new student.

The sport of log rolling promotes balance, leg and core strength, and cardiovascular endurance and overall functional coordination.

This event is open to the public! Non-members are welcome. Fun for all ages!

Lessons will be Monday nights, starting February 22nd from 5:30-6:15PM & 6:30-7:15PM.

To register for log rolling lessons call the Y at 749-8020, register online, or visit the
YMCA Member Services Desk today!

Inner Tube Water Polo is Coming to the Y!

We are looking for new teams to join our Inner Tube Water Polo League! No experience is required. Come to our scheduled league game on Friday, February 26 to watch the action and stick around after from 8:00-10:00PM to learn more and try it out yourself!

Inner Tube Water Polo is a variation of the sport of water polo with the difference being that players must play from a seated position in an inner tube. Inner Tube Water Polo is a non-contact sport that encourages physical activity without the intense conditioning required for conventional water polo. In other words, as long as you can swim, you can play Inner Tube Water Polo!

Scheduled League Game: 7:00 – 8:00PM
FREE Inner Tube Water Polo Instructional Session: 8:00 – 10:00PM
