To cancel your membership come in to the Mesabi Family YMCA, stop at the front desk, and complete the bank draft cancellation form or complete the cancellation form here!
Cancellations submitted before the 15th of the month will cancel your membership at the end of the current month.
Cancellations submitted after the 15th of the month will cancel your membership the end of the following month.
We do offer the option to place your membership on hold without monthly dues for up to 3 months. Stop by the front desk at the Y and our Member Services Representative will assist you in completing the membership hold form or you can also complete this form online here . Please note that the membership will reactivate at the end of the hold automatically and will start to draft the membership dues again.

No, our memberships are not tied down by a contract. You are able to cancel your membership at any time. For more information on the cancellation process, please see the cancellation question.
With your membership, you get access to most of the fitness classes at no cost. However, there are some classes that do have a fee. For example, water exercise has a fee that depends on how many days a week you attend. With your membership you do receive discounted rates on fitness classes, swim lessons, child care, and more!
We do offer financial assistance, please complete the Open Doors application and we can work on getting a scholarship for you! Open Doors Application
